How to apply Custom Icons to Windows 7 and 8 – 7Conifier

Are you bored of seeing the same old icons in Windows? Then you could try replacing those with your custom icons. To do that, just head to Deviantart and download a package called “7Conifier” – a custom icon package that can replace the default icons on Windows 7 and Windows 8. This package is much similar to the Stardock’s Icon Packager, which replaces the default icons with your custom set of icons. But it’s a paid application. 7Conifier is a free icon package – which lets you to backup the default icons before applying the new icon set. If you are running an OS anything less than Windows 7 or Windows 8, sorry guys this app will not work.

7Confier Icon Package

7Conifier contains totally six icon sets, namely – 3D Cartoon III, Ecqlipse, Icon Pack 2, Sleep XP, Token Dark and Token Light. Apart from these sets, you can also apply your own personalized icons.

Installation of the 7Conifier is simple, just download the package and run the 7Conifier.exe. Installing the application will not make any changes to your registry settings.  7Conifier, automatically creates the backup of the original icons and replaces with the new ones, so that you can always roll back.
