Google India’s election portal will be a one-stop access point for upcoming elections

Google has launched an elections portal in India, ahead of the five state(Chattisgarh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Mizoram) assembly elections over this month to the next and the national elections to be held by May 2014.

This portal would be an one-stop destination point for all news on the electoral process, contesting political parties and all other news related to elections and politics. This would also help the voters to get answers on voting-related queries, information on how to register for voting and FAQ around voting and registration.

Also, users will be able to watch the content hosted by YouTube partners(like NDTV, Times Now, Headlines Today, CNN IBN, Aaj Tak, ABP News, Zee News) for elections and participate and view Hangouts on Google+ done by political representatives in the recent past in both English and Hindi.
