Micromax Q5 has come

Micromax, the brand which is introducing many innovative and feature-loaded handsets recently, has just launched the Q5. Micromax Q5 is a dual-SIM GSM Handset with full QWERTY keypad. It is equipped with a 2.2 Inch screen with 262 K color display and 320 x 240 pixels display resolution. It is a bar-shaped phone with dimensions of 115×62×12.5mm and weighing 95 grams. The most striking feature of the Q5 is Trackball Navigation with Full QWERTY keypad. It supports Dual SIM of GSM-Dual-Band (900/1800 MHz).

Messaging

It supports SMS as well as MMS. Texting-lovers will surely love this phone as it sports full QWERTY keypad. This makes typing a breeze on the Micromax Q5.

The absence of Email and Push Email is disappointing, though.
Camera

The camera is a very basic one with 2 megapixels and digital zoom capable of snapping 1600×1200 resolution images. Video capture ability is also provided.

The music player present in the Micromax Q5 is a multi format player capable of playing MP3, AMR, MIDI and WAV files. You can also tune into your favorite FM Radio stations due to the presence of Stereo FM Radio. The presence of a video player also enhances its multimedia capabilities.

Connectivity

USB Port is present for easy transfer of files to/from a PC.

For wireless exchange of data, you can use its Bluetooth. It also supports A2DP .

Internet

For internet on-the-go, you can use GPRS, EDGE and WAP 2.0 of the Micromax Q5.

Opera Mini is integrated. So your browsing experience will be a lot better now. You can also connect to your friends on Facebook and yes, it is also pre-installed.

Memory

The phonebook memory and SMS memory is pretty decent, capable of storing 1000 contacts and SMS respectively.

The internal memory of the phone stands at a meagre 15 MB. But it supports MicroSD (upto 8GB), which we think will be enough for your needs.

Battery Type

The battery present in the Micromax Q5 is a Li-ion 1000mAh one, capable of providing talk time and standby time of up to 5 hours and 180 hours respectively.

Price of this mobile is around 4K-5K Indian Rupees.
