Pegasus statue created using 3,500 Huawei smartphones at MWC!

Pegasus a Greek word, represents a horse with wings which was used to slay monsters. Huawei has created a Pegasus statue decorated using 3,500 Ascend D Quad smartphone’s. The statue is placed right in front of the Mobile World Congress Venue, Barcelona.

The Chinese based company has announced its new Smartphone called “Ascend D Quad”; which claims to be the world’s fastest smartphone ever. Huawei has attempted to create a impression in the competitive mobile world conference, by creating a huge Pegasus statue with the help of its new smartphone and iron rods.

The sculpture was created by a London Machine Shop, which features cutting and soldering of iron rods, unpacking of phones, and sticky pads.  The project took 720 man-hours to complete the statue , which is 19 feet tall with a 16-foot wingspan.
