Play songs directly from your Lock Screen with ‘Pluck 2’ Jailbreak tweak

Updated on September 1, 2017

I am a fan of Lockscreen tweaks and this one is much more interesting and useful! The Pluck 2 jailbreak tweak allows you to get full access of your iPhone’s music library from the LockScreen or the Control Center. So, from now on you need not unlock your iPhone to just pick a song!

The tweak basically places a small music note icon on bottom-left of the Lock screen and next to the media controls in Control Center. By using this toggle you can select/browse songs or artists or playlists easily and quickly. Interestingly, the tweak overrides the passcode, if one is enabled. Although the Lockscreen toggle for Pluck 2 does not exactly match with the look and feel of iOS 7, it does give an exciting feature which iOS does not have by itself!

Pluck 2 tweak is compatible with iPhone or iPod touch running iOS 7 or later. You can find the tweak in the BigBoss cydia repo for 99cents.
