A Look at Audi’s A7 Piloted Driving Car – Demonstration at CES 2014

Audi demonstrated its A7 Piloted driving car during the Consumer Electronic Show in LasVegas. Though the autonomous driving technology is still under development, the demonstration from Audi in a live traffic junctions was stunning. Audi A7 features forward-looking radars to monitor the front traffic, a laser to see upcoming traffic, a windshield mounted camera to keep track of the lanes and a radar at the back to detect either side of rear traffic. According to the reports from Audi, the autonomous driving technology aimed to provide hands-free driving when the traffic is moving at a speed of 40 mph.

Audi has not hinted when the technology will be employed in its car, but when it does, the driver can relax during the moderate traffic.
