HP Unveils Slate 7 Android Tablet during MWC 2013
BARCELONA – HP is back again on Tablet business with the announcement of Slate 7, a seven inch Android tablet for $169 during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The tablet will run Android Jelly Bean operating system, powered by ARM Dual core Cortex A9 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, an 3 megapixel camera and embedded Beats Audio technology.
This is the second time HP is attempting tablet business, after the fall of webOS. But HP Slate 7 has already attracted many eyes in MWC, mostly due to its lower price tag. According to the reports, the company is also planning to announce Windows tablet called ElitePad.
The Slate 7 will come in stainless steel frame and soft touch back. It will also come with pre-loaded apps by HP, including the ePrint app to print from your tablet over Wi-Fi.
