The Next Lumia Smartphone from Nokia might have an Aluminium Body

Nokia is planning to encase its next Lumia Smartphone in an aluminium body with the code name as “CatWalk”. The CatWalk will be thinner, lighter than Nokia Lumia 920, which is cased in a polycarbonate unibody shell. According to the reports from Verge, the new phone will be designed to be the successor to Lumia 920 and will be replacement to the company’s existing Windows Phone 8 tag and will boast of similar internal hardware specifications.

The aluminium phone would be similar to what Nokia brought into market via N8, in a range of vibrant colors. But the plus of having aluminium body, is the light weight and more thinner – which is something Nokia is trying to improve to compete with Apple’s iPhone.
