Here’s a specification of Google Glass
Well, we have been hearing plenty of rumors about Google Glass, but here’s an official specification from Google. The company shipped its first batch of Google Glasses to developers today and announced the tech specifications as well. Google Glass will feature an 5 megapixel camera, 12GB usable memory which will be synced with Google cloud storage, 16GB of flash memory in total. In the connectivity front, the Glasses will support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and shockingly not 3G.
Google Glasses can communicate with any phone that supports Bluetooth and will have MyGlass companion app to support GPS and SMS messaging, which requires Android 4.0.3. The glasses will support High definition, Bone Conduction Transducer for Audio and micro USB charging. Also we had seen rumor that Glasses might support prescription lens as well.
The company has also released API for its glasses to developers to develop apps before its actual launch to the users.
