What’s your dinner today? Samsung’s Smart Fridge will tell you

CES 2013 – A grocery manager, instant recipe ideas, share the list of items to be purchased via Evernote and keep track of food expiry – well, we were speaking about the Samsung’s new Smart Fridge. Unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show, 2013, the smart fridge measure 32 cu.ft capacity with four doors, an 10-inch tablet and few apps for better food management.

Samsung’s Smart Fridge will keep track of what’s going into the fridge, it may be a fresh food or something which was already there. You can set an expiration date and it will automatically popup on the screen to remind you. The 10-inch tablet comes with a pre-loaded apps designed to help you get organized with the storage items in the fridge.

You can share the list of grocery items that you wish to purchase using the Evernote and it will update on your partner’s mobile device. The smart fridge’s storage manager lets you to add items with a simple drag & drop and later get the recipe ideas for the dinner. The fridge at the back end searches the Epicurious to find a recipe using your available ingredients.

The company had partnered with Unilever, so you might receive discount coupons on the screen. The smart fridge comes in the model name ”T9000 Refrigerator’ which will hit the market this year and will be priced at $4000.
