Windows Phone 8.1’s new Action center on video! Check it out!

WP 8.1 is releasing this April and we just can’t wait yet and it seems like its April now! More leaks come in about the new OS and what it has in store. This time the action center and the notification bar gets demoed on a video. The device in question is a Nokia Lumia 920. This means that all existing WP8 devices will get their taste of WP 8.1 code-named Blue.

The action center will pop if you pull the notification bar from top to bottom. Once you pull it down, you get to see four power controls which are highly customizable. The default are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, screen lock and settings. But you can change them to suit your needs by going in to the action center menu under settings.

This is actually the one most welcome-able change happening to WP right now. It would’ve been better if it had been from swiping to the right of the screen. That which pops up the notification center and also some quick settings. As this version is a SDK build and a developer version, we are not sure how the official build will look like.

Here is a video of the device in action:

The video shows you clearly what all to expect from the OS. Here is a recap of the features of the things that are expected in WP 8.1. They include the voice assistant Cortana, Notification center, custom sounds, on screen navigation bar, theme support in the start screen much similar to its desktop counterpart and much more.
