Cadillac Volt ELR, a luxury car debuted at Detroit Auto Show
DETROIT – The Cadillac ELR was debuted during the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, which is a luxury volt. Cadillac ELR can travel up to 35 to 40 miles on silent electric power supplied by 16.5 kWh lithium ion battery. After that the car takes over using 1.4 liter gasoline engine, which generates electricity to keep the motor running for 300 miles. The car features stylish front end with the chrome grilled sealed off and decorated with the vertical LED headlights at the corners.
The interior looks stunning and seemed bit more improved from the VOLT interior. It also has an touch display, which was similar to the one in Cadillac Cue. Well, the driver can enjoy his drive sitting on a leather, wood and carbon fiber made seat.
According to the reports, the company will start the productions in U.S in late 2013 and the first model is expected during 2014.
