An updated version of Panasonic micro Four Thirds camera, the GH1 is introduced
The Panasonic micro four thirds camera, the GH1 company’s revolutionary LUMIX G micro system records HD video. Videos are recorded using the AVCHD codec and 1080p video is shot at 24fps while 720p is shot at 60fps. There’s a dedicated video record button on the back of the GH1.
12.1 megapixel high speed Live MOS Sensor and the dual CPU venus Engine HD is an additional other than the video recording. This is an imp as dual cpu’s cut down on noise, even when shooting at a high ISO. They also managed to pack in all the video recording software and modes that can be found on their point and shoot Lumix line.
The other updates are: kit lens. The lumix Vario G HD 14-140mm/F4.0-5.8ASPH/MEGA O.I.S lens was built specifically for HD video recording. It features a salient motor and uninterrupted auto focusing ability.
There’s another lens as well, the Lumix G Vario 7-14mm/F4.0 ASPH.
