Add Dimension to drawing with CreoPop – The first 3D pen with cool ink
CreoPop, the first of its kind 3-D pen uses no hot parts, no melting plastics. This miniaturised 3-D printer gives its users a free hand use feature, allowing them to create incredible and amazing pieces of art. With wide range of applications, this pen is the perfect tool for designing and letting out one’s creativity.
How CreoPop works?
Unlike the existing pens which pull in a plastic filament and heat it up to 200-250C and push it out the hot end, CreoPop solidifies liquid resin using UV light. A tiny UV light source hits the resin as it leaves the pen. No heat. No straggly filaments tangled up in your arms. It is USB-powered, so you only have a cable to deal with.
The coooool ink
Imagination backed by technology has been a pretty deadly combination and so is CreoPop and its “cool ink”. To let your creativity bloom CreoPop has launched special inks like elastic, glow-in-the-dark, Temperature sensitive, Elastic, Body, Glittering, Conductive, Magnetic, Aromatic, many more to yet to come.
CreoPop Usage
This easy-to-use pen has a lot to offer for children as well as designers alike. Children can use it to make accessories for their toys, jewellery & clothes for dolls, it can be put to use for making science projects as well. Professional designers can use it to give shape to their designs, making tattoos, fridge magnets, etc. These are some of the many things that it can be used to.
Public reaction to CreoPop
The response to CreoPop is surprisingly remarkable. Launched initially to generate funds to carry on with the project, CreoPop surpassed the expectations by miles. It was fully funded within a day of its launch by the support from backers in 44 countries around the world, and several major brands asking for OEM versions of the CreoPop pen. The huge success owed to “Indigogo’s” crowd-funding campaign.
Watch CreoPop in action
