Videocon, after their success in electronic goods sales and services have entered into digital set top box market also. But, they have not stopped themselves by even entering into mobile market too. Videocon V1688 is the new mobile launched by them. This mobile is a Dual Sim GSM mobile with full touchscreen display.

Videocon V1988 has features like Music player, Video player which is capable of playing almost all formats of video. FM Radio, Bluetooth, Mini USB, 3.5 mm Audio Jack, GPRS/Edge, WAP Browser and many more. The mobile features a Swivel QWERTY keypad which can be rotated as shown in the picture. It also features MicroSD card slot by which users can extend memory up to 8 GB. Social networking is quite easy as this mobile will have ready access to the sites like facebook, twitter and MySpace with the help of USB data connectivity. Email and messaging also becomes quite easy as the mobile features a well arranged QWERTY keypad which avoids typing mistakes. The mobile will be available from February 2011 at a price of Rs. 8,000 in India.
