Android powered gaming console? Here’s to MAD Catz MOJO
Android has come a long way from being nothing before when Symbian was present to now being in almost everything. It is now present in smartphones, tablets and mainly gaming consoles. There are manufacturers who tend to release Android powered gaming consoles like the NVidia shield, the OUYA and the likes. In that range, we are seeing the Mad Catz MOJO.
Mad Catz Interactive Inc or Mad Catz is generally known is an American company which produces products under the names like TRITTON, Saitek and GameShark. Gameshark is the gaming brand, TRITTON refers to an audio product and Saitek refers to a simulation product. Mad Catz has a weird way of naming its accessories.
The MOJO comes with accessories like M.O.U.S which is actually a wireless mouse, F.R.E.Q which is a mobile stereo headset and C.T.R.L which is a wireless gaming pad. Mad Catz has a logo like an animal scratch which you can see it in the box and also the controller. Unique enough. The console is rather compact and features a blue colored light in the middle. Inside the MOJO is a 1.8Ghz NVidia Processor which is responsible for its processing and high end graphics. The MOJO can produce 3D gaming much like its older and mature cousins- the PS4, Xbox One. As the console runs on Android, it can download hundreds of thousands of titles and when hooked up to your HDTV, can bring life like pics. The MOJO controller is pretty much like an Xbox 360 controller with the same D-pad and button arrangements. Overall, the MOJO is a combination of a different kind. The console is to set you back by a few hundred bucks, but, decide whether it is worth or not.
