A remake of the original – Mercedes Benz S class

Mercedez Benz is doing it again and is living to its name. The company is releasing its very luxurious offering- the S class. The S class comes in two variants- S500 and S350. S350 is a diesel variant. S500 is a top end model and comes with all standard features as well as some exclusives. There is another S-Class model, the W222 which is a sedan model and also a petrol variant which has a showroom price of around 1.57 crore. It is to be launched in New Delhi and the units will be imported from Germany. The company has stated that 125 units of this special S class are to be sold as limited edition and the orders will be taken soon and the cars will be delivered by April 2014. For the past five generations the S-class of Mercedes has been the backbone for the company. We earlier reported about this model going to release in September.

The new edition does not only replace the old series but it is also filled with technically advanced features. These features include recliner, massaging, cooled and heated seats, Bluetooth, 24-speaker Burmester audio system, Wi-Fi connectivity, Night Vision Assist, Adaptive Cruise control, Full LED headlamps, a panoramic sunroof, four climate Zone controller and an air suspension are some of the few other techie features of this vehicle.

The most Wonderful and mind-blowing feature is the on-board aroma-therapy system. Most of the features belong to May Bach luxury brand. It is stated that the Mercedes Benz technicians have used the technique of “Coordinate system of interior perception” to design the interiors. It is facilitated with 4,663cc, v8 petrol engine that gives out 471.53 bhp and gives out 71.38kgm of torque and also a seven speed automatic gearbox. The locally assembled diesel version of this car-S350 CDI is expected to hit the market with a significantly lower price in the second half of 2014.
