Bikes that roared on Indian Auto Expo 2014

Indian Auto Expo 2014 saw a wide range of automobiles from bikes to trucks. We covered few trucks and some of the cars and concepts that were unveiled at the Auto Expo 2014. Here are a few bikes that were unveiled during Auto Expo 2014.

The Pulsar gets some new design and features a new paint job. The new avatar should make the bike more powerful and more sexy to look at. The bike looks like it has been graffiti-ed.

Harley Davidson Street 750

Harley Davidson is trying to bring back its old classic and this one is definitely a killer. It brings with it the old feeling of riding a classic. It was also introduced in Indian Bike week 2014 in Goa.

Hero HX250R

Hero is definitely doing good and after the breakup between Hero and Honda, it is now breaking new grounds. It has unveiled the HX250R which is a direct competition to the Honda CBR250R. The stream line design is indicative of Hero’s and this model is sure to hit the roads soon enough and you might want one.

Honda CBR500R

The Honda CBR derives some characteristics from its sisters- the CBR600R and the 1000R. They are sportsbikes and this one is a mid range sports cum normal use bike. It has a displacement of 471cc and that is why it is named 500R. Maybe Honda got its naming strategy from storage companies who market 12.71GB as 16GB.

Honda Activa 125

The Activa gets a remake and is reminiscent of the Hero Maestro. Are the two companies broken up or are there any internal dealing going on still? There is no change in the internal and the external is the one which has changed a lot. It comes with 4 stroke cylinder, 125cc, force air cooling and single cylinder.

Hyosung GD250N

Hyosung will be directly competing with the KTM Duke. This new bike will be an all terrainer and comes with rather a naked design showcasing the engine, rear suspension and chassis. The bike is powered by a 249cc engine which produces 28bhp of power.

Moto Marini Scrambler 1200 and Granpasso 1200

Mumai motor maker Vardenchi and Italian moto maker Moto Marini combine to make the Scrambler. It comes with a 1200cc engine. Also, its Granpasso 1200 was unveiled in the Indian Auto Expo 2014.
