Excellent camera. Great for on-the-go when the digital SLR is too bulky. Quality is outstanding and you can able to enlarge up to 11×14 without difficulty. OK for action shots, but not as good as the SLR at sporting events. However, can take the G10 to events where an SLR with a telephoto lens is not allowed and can get quality shots. Easy to use technique of bracketing with this camera- easier than SLR.

3. Love this camera! I had an A60 two cameras ago, and the G10 reminds me of it, but in a way better way.You will  really like the control . This is a great camera for people who like to tinker, people who read the user manual front to back, people who customize their camera’s sounds and startup image, and people who want to make great prints.

The wide lens is fun too.You will definitely appreciate its versatility, and macro detail is spectacular. You can  use all of the dials and buttons on it. If you want to just push a button and take a picture, then this isn’t the camera for you.

4.  This is one of the greatest camera that would met your requirement in a camera. I wish canon did not take the 1280 movie shots.
