Canon set to launch new PowerShot A series cameras

Canon, the well known name in the digital world, is all set to launch its new versions of PowerShot A series digital cameras. The new A series models comes in black, silver, pink and blue colors. All the models are set to feature 16 megapixel sensor, 720p video and 28mm  wide angle lens. The price is expected to be around $200.  The model A3400 IS and A2400 IS features image stabilization and 5x optical zoom. A3400 comes with 3-inch LCD screen, whereas A2400 has only 2.7-inch LCD and retails for $150.  The model A1300 and A810 features  5X optical zoom, 2.7-inch LCD and they are expected to be in the market during the month of April, with the A810 priced at $110 and the A1300 priced at $120.
