Chevrolet Cruze Facelift – World Premiere to happen soon

I would like to refer to the Cruze as Bumble Bee. You may say or argue that, it is wrong. But hey! Opinions of different persons are unique and of course, different. The car featured on the movie Transformers was actually a Camaro SS. So what? The news is that Bumble Bee is going to get a new face lift. This is for now only on China side. But the World premiere is going to happen soon.

Here is a look at the first generation Cruze that was introduced here in India:

  • VCDi Diesel Engine with 2.0L 163.7 bhp and 16V
  • 4 cylinder engine with 1998cc displacement
  • 6 speed FWD Transmission
  • Power steering type with Tilt and Telescopic steering column
  • City Mileage: 14.0
  • Highway Mileage: 17.3
  • Rear AC vents and Heated seats

The Cruze was stylish and caught a lot of attention when it was first introduced here, in India. It had a push start/stop button which is a technology ahead of time. Then all the other manufacturers started implementing the feature and it is now a common place, and you cannot see a car with a key hole in it. The rapid speed with which the Automotive Industry is moving is just fascinating! First, the wheel was invented and then the car came in to existence. Now we are thinking of how to improve our comfort zone and get just about anyone to drive. Here are the interior pictures of the new face lifted and improved design Cruze.

The new Facelift giving it a new style and new features will sure be a hit, in my humble and honest opinion. The car should compete with the latest iteration of the Corolla from Toyota, which has also got an entirely new aerodynamic design. The new facelifted Cruze should hit Indian Shores soon.
