Digital Reflex Camera

This gadget is just a prototype for now but it looks like it might just be the wave of the future.  Designer Yaniv Berg remembers those old camera from yesteryear—you know, the ones with the viewfinders on the top . . . the ones that “artsy” photographers still use even when they should have switched to digital a decade ago.  Yaniv thought it would be a good idea to bring back that esthetic to the digital age and therefore created this mock-up.

It’s a simple cylindrical design where all the working bits are housed safely within the “tube” portion.  The upper part sports a small LCD screen and a few buttons you can use to preview your masterpiece.  All in all, it’s a flashy new design that I’m sure hipster would just adore. The problem comes when you’re trying to take a snapshot of something above your head.  While the design does feature a swivel display, it would definitely be quite awkward looking up into the sky in order to take a photo.

Let’s See when the developers are going to introduce this gadget to the markets. Specifications and pricing of this gadget are yet to announce.
