Txtr Beagle E-reader to cost $69 and not $13
Probably this could be the shocking news to few, who were expecting the Txtr Beagle reader to price less than $13. At least that was the initial price we heard from the company. But today, the company has announced its new e-reader priced at $69, will hit the U.S market during next month or so. According to the reports, the company has already started to accept pre-orders for $69. The reader features 5-inch E-link display screen with the pixel resolution of 800 x 600 and weighs around 128g.
The beagle can store up to five folders full of page images, with one folder for each title. But the reader can process ebooks only with the help of txtr Android application; which can convert an ebook into images and transfer those to Beagle reader via Bluetooth. It means, anyone who owns an Android device can use the txtr app to convert your favorite ebooks into images and transfer those to Beagle. Ok, but what about iPhone users? Sorry! the company is yet to comment about it.
