An ergonomically ingenious spoon – ‘Spuni’ revolutionary first spoon for infants
Ever inspired by instagram? If, yes what was the big thing you have created, tell us in comments!
These MIT graduates got inspired by an instagram picture to create infant spoons! Spoons that would make each baby meal a joy!
Marcel and Trevor got the idea of Spuni.
Spuni is an ergonomically ingenious spoon designed to help babies eat solid food with less mess. It is dishwasher safe, non-toxic, Phthalate (BPA & BPS) and PVC free.
Spuni’s unique “tulip” profile is designed to trigger the instinctive latching reaction that babies develop during breast and bottle feeding. It allows a baby to suck food off the spoon with less spillover, making each meal a more pleasurable experience for all.
Spuni comes in vibrant colors that your baby would love! You can choose a set and each would cost you $25. A wood Spuni would cost you $35 and wish to have all colors of spoon at home ? Its $100!
Spuni is currently raising funds and has partnered with a German manufacturer to make the first batch of commercial spoons for the United States and European markets. Limited editions in wood and silver are expected to be manufactured in Brooklyn, New York.
We could expect Spuni in market by April,2013.
