Firefox not available for iPhones

Firefox, the internet browser which has got a reputation among PC users, won’t release a version for the Apple iPhone. Mozilla’s director of mobile engineering Christian Sejersen announced that a Firefox version  for the Apple smartphone won’t be developed. This may be sad news for firefox users who have been using it in their pc’s.

In spite of requests from Firefox users, the Mozilla foundation won’t spend resources to develop a product for the iPhone because Apple does not let developers put browsers in its App Store and it would be risky. Also, one of the Apple conditions (in its App store) is that software developers don’t release functions or applications that have been already developed by Apple, and the web browsing is one of the best features of the iPhone by using Safari browser.
