Flash in iPhone bit tough : Adobe CEO
Adobe and Apple tied to support flash plugin for iPhone browser. The hard task has been started and it goes on and on. “The workable version of Flash for the iPhone is still touch nut to crack” said Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen in the World Economics Forum in Davos, Switzerland. “It’s a hard technical challenge, and that’s part of the reason Apple and Adobe are collaborating,” Narayen told.
As Adobe said at the time: “To bring the full capabilities of Flash to the iPhone Web-browsing experience we do need to work with Apple beyond and above what is available through the SDK (the iPhone software development kit) and the current license around it.”
But however, the chief technology officer Kevin Lynch is confident about enable flash in iPhone. “We’re actually going to get 1 billion Flash-enabled phones by 2009,” he said.
