Share your Tablet’s battery with Qi-Compatible Phones using Fulton’s latest creation
A new innovation from Fulton is a tablet that comes with a wireless charging pad. The charging pad lets you share the tablet’s battery with Qi-Compatible phones. I mean, you can charge your phone (yeh! Qi-compatible phones) wirelessly using the charge pad of Fulton’s tablet.
What’s that Qi Standard?
Qi (pronounced as Chee, originated from Chinese word meaning ‘energy flow’) is an interface standard developed by the Wireless Power Consortium that can transfer the electrical power via wireless technology over a distance up to 40 millimeters. The standard is widely used by many mobile manufactures like HTC, Sony, Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and LG Electronics. For example, the latest smartphones like Nokia Lumia 920, HTC Droid DNA and Nexus 4 are all compatible with Qi Standard.
According to the reports, Fulton plans to unveil its new tablet along with many Qi-compatible phones at CES. This tablet can share the charge with other Qi-compatible phones.
Have a query about how that is done? Well, have a look at the video below for the demonstration from Fulton.
