Gaming Developer Conference (GDC) is an event which is the world’s largest and longest running professionals-only gaming event. The conference features over 400 panels, lectures, tutorials and round table discussions. It is being produced by URM Tech Network. The conference is going to be held from 17th to 21st of March.
This GDC also features the sixteenth annual Independent Games Festival and fourteenth annual Game Developers Choice Award.
History
The first conference was held 27 years ago when 25 developers were discussing about their needs and different things needed in a single living room. It has grown from one day to a week long conference which brings in more than 23000 industries together. The conference first included computer games alone but now it goes as wide as possible in which any platform can take place- mobile gaming, handheld consoles, Gaming consoles, and so on. Every year, GDC builds upon latest technologies and methods in gaming and each year defines a new set of rules to help increase how you perceive and receive a new world- your gaming world.
