Garmin’s Dash Cam will record your accident [CES 2014]
Garmin has unveiled a new Dash Cam pricing $220 at CES, which is a dashboard camera for cars that can offer many things, and most importantly – automatic incident detection and recording. One of the rear-facing cameras mounted on the window will help you see what is behind you and the other will record videos, incase you meet with an accident. The incident detector will activate the camera to record 1080p, 720p or WXGA wide-angle videos. This video is stored to Dash Cam’s 4GB of storage (expandable memory). It also features a 2.3-inch display, and can be adjusted to position the camera or can be pulled off the windshield to take snapshots of the incident.
Another useful feature is that the whole footage is timestamped and if your cam is the $250 GPS version, footage is geostamped.
Both the versions will be available for public next month! Grab one!
