Head-mounted Camera to see how your mechanic repairs

We have all had our car in the shop, and received a bill that we knew was not equivalent to service rendered. Usually it is a very high price. It makes one wish that one could look into that room and see exactly what is being done by the mechanic. This is what the Audi-cam is for. The Audi-cam is a simple over-the-shoulder mounted camera designed to see exactly what the mechanic is seeing. This way, you can see exactly what the maintenance person is doing to your car in repair.

Video is then live-streamed to you, and I imagine that you can record it to be used in a court case later. By the way, you can put a two-way radio on the camera so you can even talk to the mechanic as he or she works. I’m not certain if that will give you a good relationship between you and your mechanic. This is assuming that you still have a relationship after he or she hands you a high bill.

I mean, no one wants to be micro-managed. I bet that if you tried to comment, the mechanic would probably say that he/she knows what he/she is doing, etc. I see this heading toward: “If you’re so good at this, why don’t you fix this yourself?”
