HTC Hima, the next Flagship phone from HTC – Leaked Specs and Pictures
The new Flagship from HTC will be a Stunner. That is what HTC seems to expect. Well, that is what all manufacturers seem to expect from their phones. They want to have the highest share in the market and want to take a whole portion of the bread for themselves. Let’s move on to see what makes Hima a flagship phone.
Lets look at the features of the phone:
- 5.2 inch Touchscreen (alleged)
- Snapdragon 805 Chipset
- 20.7MP Rear Camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS)
- 3GB of RAM
- 3500mAh Battery
- Android 5.0 Lollipop
Wait! All the above features are from the rumour land. The front camera should either be 4MP Ultra Pixel or a 16MP front shooter, very much like HTC Desire Eye. The HTC Desire Eye comes with an 13MP front and rear camera with flash. All the HTC Fans went crazy over this.
What this does for HTC?
The company aims to pack all the features that it can offer in a nominal price range. Flagship like features should be coupled with amazing hardware. The Experiment with One was rather a failure. The 4MP Camera along with the pixel range was amazing on paper, but not in reality. So HTC has chosen to dump the ultra Pixel technology and come up with rather a large Mega Pixel count.
Are there any other versions of this device?
If you are looking for an AT&T, Verizon versions like that, I am not sure. The carrier specific versions should hit the shelves when the device does release. HTC has plans to release Windows version as well, with the same hardware as its Android counterpart. This would be the same strategy that HTC employed with the HTC One (M8).
According to the leaked images, the bottom part of the screen will be more when compared to the other One range of devices. Though these specs are nice on paper, the real specifications of these device will only be known after an official confirmation or release by HTC. Do take these with a pinch of salt.
