Huawei releases its own Android powered Gaming Console
The list of Android powered Gaming console manufacturers are enormous and Huawei gets added to the list. Huawei is working on its own Android powered console and it is sure to be like the other devices in terms of design but performance wise, it should be better.
The device is named Tron. The console is like a coffee mug and is very stylish and cute. The controller is like an Xbox controller with a touchpad. I don’t get it why people try to copy the Xbox controller. If they say “the Xbox is not a good one and the PlayStation can outsmart the Xbox any time”, why do they copy the Xbox controller then? That is a question which will left unanswered for generations to come. The console is priced at $120 and is aimed at OUYA which is priced even more competitively at $99. The console is powered by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Tegra 4 completes the combo.
The console has 2GB of RAM and comes with a 16GB/32GB internal storage option. The controller connects to the console via Bluetooth and to the TV via HDMI. The device was released at CES 2014 and is expected to come in to production soon. The games can be downloaded from Google Play store and there are plenty out there to choose from. Here’s a video of the device in action.
