Hyundai i10

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) launches their new car called i10, which is going to compete with maruti Alto, Getz, Spark . With a low price band and many extra features this car is a sure can buy though price is not the only factor and other factors like maintainence, mileage and others also will count.

 Hyundai i10 (PA) is likely to be powered by an 1.1 gasoline engine producing 65 horsepower, a 1.1 liter diesel(CRDi) rated 75 hp and a 1.2 liter gasoline engine producing 80 horsepower may join the lineup shortly after the car’s debut. Also there are spy photos showing i10 with moon/sunroof but this will not be available in India because of the pricing. The featuristic i10 will replace the Atos and will be on sale in the European market in 2008. The european i10 may have automatic transmission. Hyundai plans to sell the i10 (pa ) in over 100 countries around the world.

Hyundai i10 is highly featuristic – fog lamps in the front bumper, alloy wheels, rear wiper and defogger. Waistline moulding protects i10 from dents and nicks. Featuring one touch opening, i10 is the India’s first small car to feature sunroof that has both slide and tilt functions. Similar to Volkswagen’s passat, Hyundai has used the ‘H’ badge as boot release lid.

On the Road the i10 costs between Rs4,15,551(era) and Rs5,28,421(magna -opt) . 0-60 in 6 secs with the mileage is approximate 13-14Kms/Litre.
