Why don’t IRCTC let you book tickets at once? – Tweets

At Techglimpse, we had seen plenty of articles related to ticket booking on IRCTC. Most of the time, it’s a nightmare to book a Tatkal ticket using IRCTC website and if someone gets hold of his nerve to get it; well he must be really a genius in patience. I tried using Amit Agarwal’s Magic Auto fill, it worked only couple of times. I thought of populating passenger list and use it in booking page…but first of all I should reach booking page isn’t? Someone told me to sync my system time with IRCTC’s server time. So I tried using “Firefox add-on” to sync my system time with IRCTC to get rid of session expiry problems…but what’s the use of syncing the time, when the site says “Service Unavailable”.

To be frank, I could never find an answer and here’s what others say about the great IRCTC.
