Its time to backup your files : Yahoo’s Briefcase will shutdown by march 30.

Yahoo plans to discontinue its briefcase service during the march 2009. Yahoo Briefcase is a online storage service, which was famous almost 10 years providing users with 30 MB of storage will finally be shutdown by March 30.

Users of the free service, which let them to upload files as big as 5MB and organize them in folders, are now greeted with a message to download or delete files by march 30. After that, the accounts will be closed and files will be deleted.

Yahoo said, we have many other services like yahoo mail and Flickr which can provide users far greater storage capacity than its briefcase service. The move to shutdown briefcase service will help to focus more on its mail & flickr services.
