LG KS660 Dual Sim Phone
Phones that allow using two SIM cards simultaneously are a great invention. They allow you to carry only one, instead of two devices, which is necessary, in case you have a business and a personal subscription for example. Unfortunately, with a few exceptions (made by LG), such devices are being developed by Chinese manufacturers with a doubtful reputation, which copy the names and appearances of leading brands very often. Although being full of features, they aren’t really high-quality made.
The first LG handset featuring two SIM cards will likely aim at the Asian and Eastern European markets,The touchscreen mobile includes a 5 megapixel camera, 3 inch WQVGA display(240*400), an integrated multimedia player, 50MB of inbuilt memory, a microSD expansion slot, FM radio, video recorder(720*480), Bluetooth 2.0, USB support and tri-band GSM connectivity. The phone is aimed towards business people that have a need for more than one phone. It will allow them to manage their lives much easier.
The disappointing feature or rather lack of it is WiFi and 3G which beoming very popular.
- Tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (900/1800/1900 MHz)
- 3″ WQVGA (240×400) TFT touch-screen display with feedback
- 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash, and video recording (720×480)
- 50MB internal memory
- microSDHC memory card slot
- Integrated accelerometer
The LG KS660 will most likely drop by China, Russia and a few other Russian satellite states sometime in Q1 2009, while those in Europe and the US will be glossed over by the Korean electronics giant.
The LG KS660 Dual Sim phone will be available on February 2009.
