Mercedes Benz’s new Concept GLA comes with Laser headlights [Shanghai Auto Show]

Mercedes Benz shows of its new concept GLA SUV during the Shanghai auto show. The SUV was featuring stunning laser-beam headlight projectors, which glows for driving and also projects pictures or videos onto a screen or any other surface. I was bit confused, when I heard about this feature! But actually the owner can park the car in front of a wall and watch a projected video, which is something like a drive-in theater. The SUV can take input from your smartphone, internet or a hard drive. Benz GLA SUV comes with HD cameras, which can also be a source for the video projection. Want to connect the camera to any other device? It’s simple, you can just remove the cameras from the car and choose to fit it anywhere else.

Apart from using the projectors for entertainment, it can also be used to guide you after taking directional instructions from the navigation system and project them onto the road. Benz’s Concept GLA will sport 2-liter 208 hp engine, Mercedes’ 4MATIC all-wheel drive and 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. We are yet to receive information about its arrival to the market.
