Micromax Canvas LapTab comes with Android, Windows 8.1 Dual Boot [CES]
Micromax, the popular name in the Indian mobile market has entered the CES for the first time with a bang. The company unveiled its new Canvas LapTab tablet with a dual boot facility. Canvas LapTab comes with Android JellyBean and Windows 8.1 dual boot operating systems. The device features 10.1 inch display screen with a pixel resolution of 1280×800, 2 megapixel rear and front cameras. The device is powered by Celeron N2805 processor clocked at 1.46GHz and 2GB RAM. In the storage front, it has 32GB onboard storage, which is extendable by another 64GB. It comes with 7400mAh battery and connectivity using Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi.
We are yet to know what specific Android version is, the price and release details. However, the device might get into market during the month of February via E-commerce portals and retailers shops in India. Along with LapTab, the company has also revealed Wireless keyboard cum protector sleeve for the tablet.
It seems Micromax wants to try its hand in foreign market and their first CES showcase is a good move.
