Microsoft will pay $250,000 rewards for arresting conficker
Microsoft Corp. has announced that the company is ready to reward with $250,000 for arresting conficker worm. The conficker worm is also known as Downadup. Microsoft Corp. has teamed up with security researchers, Internet corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and operators within Domain Name System to disable domains that spreads Conficker.
Microsoft’s reward offer stems from the company’s recognition that the Conficker worm is a criminal attack. Microsoft wants to arrest the criminals responsible for conficker. Residents of any country are eligible for the reward announced by Microsoft, because conficker worm that affects the whole internet community.
