Monster.com warns breach !

Major Job seeker site Monster.com warn about breach of its user database.  Warning that online intruders made off with an unspecified number of job seekers’ names, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, log-in names and passwords.

Monster.com, an NewYork-based Monster Worldwide warns about scant information on breach, but said there was no confidential informations collected.

“Immediately upon learning about this, Monster initiated an investigation and took corrective steps,” the company said in its statement on Friday. Moreover company had already faced such incident in the year 2004, where 1.3 millions users are affected.

Monster.com advised all users to change their passwords as soon as possible.
