Honda Canada Shows off New Gear Concept Car in Montreal

MONTREAL Auto Show – Montreal International Auto show, the famous event that runs during the Detroit Auto show, witnessed the new Gear concept car announced by the Honda Canada – a vehicle that demonstrates the innovative approach to providing the real answer for the urban, Gen-Y lifestyles. The Gear concept study model was inspired by the fixed gear mechanisms at bicycles, that aims to bring a new way of customizable, connected gear concept vehicle.

“Subcompact cars are usually either utilitarian, but uninspiring or they’re fun, zippy cars that are impractical and too expensive for the Gen-Y buyer,” said Dave Marek, Design Director at Honda R&D Americas, Inc.

“GEAR Concept tears down those walls – it’s practical but fun, customizable, connected and affordable. Everything that young, discerning urban buyers would want in a car.”
