Motorola holding an event on May 13: X+1 or E expected
Motorola is planning to hold an event on May 13 and it has released teasers or more likely to say, posters which depict an invite. The event is going to take place in London at around 8.45 AM.
The invite reveals nothing but a smartphone which is actually expected to “connect” people. If they are trying for a logo like “connecting people”, I am sorry Motorola, but Nokia has already done that. But the phone is also expected to be of mid range as the tag line specifies “Made to last and Priced for all”. Two devices that we speculate will arrive are the Moto E and the Moto X+1. There should be also more on the Moto 360 Smartwatch.
The Moto X+1 branding actually leaked on Twitter. The X+1 is to be name of the successor of the Moto X rather than a name of the phone itself.
The leak was given by the trusted tipster (company) aka @Evleaks. Before, we could only get a leak from twitter. But this time, the X+1 has leaked on the Moto Maker website giving it more credibility. The phone X+1 was added on to the Moto Maker website to get the customization options like its successor, the Moto X. Though this might be intentional as the company would have later taken down the details making it go on-air for a few minutes.
Here are some specifications of the Moto E:
