Pocket Drone can fly, take photos, video and fold into your Pocket as well!

Drones are becoming popular these days and we have seen recently one during CES 2014 (Parrot’s mini Drone and Jumbo). The U.S government is yet to give approval for drones to fly officially and that had already placed a barrier over Amazon’s unmanned drone to deliver good to its customers. However, that didn’t stop companies from creating drones for consumers.

The Kickstarter project called “Pocket Drone” can actually fly, take photos, videos and when done, it can fold to fit in your pocket. It’s a multicopter dubbed as “the GoPro of drones”, sports a camera and rechargeable battery. The battery can power the drone to fly for up to 20 minutes.

According to the developers, the drone is very easy to operate and it can be launched within 20 seconds after unpacking. The copter can be operated via remote, a third party RC controller and from your Android phone or tablet. The software that functions drone is actually open source – so the developers can make use of it to add new features.
