Sony HDR-AS100V Action Cam will quench a Pro’s thirst! [CES 2014]

Sony HDR-AS100V Action Cam has a slim body with ultra-compact design and looks classy with the white/black finish. Additionally AS100V is splash-proof and resistant to rain or snow. Coming to the technical part, the Action Cam has all the necessities to be fit for a pro –  featuring premium ultrawide Zeiss Tessar lens of 30 percent higher resolution and better image stabilization. With Sony’s SteadyShot image stabilization, the camera can adjust to any vibration while videography and automatically compensate any bumps or shake be it – walking, or driving.

You can choose to shoot with multiple cameras, getting help of RM-LVR1 (Live View Remote) wrist controller. The PlayMemories software has options and allows you to merge videos taken from multiple cams thus making split-screens possible with ease. The footage has timecodes and if you need to use them get a pro suite like Sony Vegas.

There is a 18-megapixel Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor and a Sony Bionz X processor behind the ultrawide lens.The AS100V shoots in 1080p -24frames per second and high-speed 720p video. It also sports neutral and vivid color modes for greater post-production flexibility.
