According to the project’s description in Kickstarter, the sound vocabulary is fully based on the standardized Emojis, which are set of emoticons originated from Japan. Soon after hearing about the project, we were excited to learn how Telesound actually works. Here’s how it is,

TeleSound will connect to your device (Smartphone or tablet) via Bluetooth 4.0. Once connected, anyone that you permit can trigger sounds on your TeleSound from anywhere in the world, by sending a series of icons from free iPhone or Android application. To explain it better, it is similar to texting messages with Emojis, that are transformed by the application into an emotional sounds. The device is capable of replaying the sound anytime, by just performing “moo box” gesture.
