TomTom’s Portable Navigation Go 2505 M Live features HD Traffic service

CES 2013 – In the line of Go series, TomTom has announced a new portable navigation device in the model name “Go 2505 M Live”. It features TomTom’s Live connectivity suite, HD Traffic service, 5-inch multitouch screen, Bluetooth connectivity and WebKit-based software with voice recognition. The navigation system in the line of Go series, comes with a metal-backed chassis that attaches to its windshield mount with magnets.

TomTom HD Traffic Service

This model is an upgraded version of Go 740 Live, that comes with a local search by Google, fuel prices, weather forecasts and HD traffic service. The HD traffic service will stream the live data service from the internet, which are generated by the millions of TomTom device and app users. Finally the data is blended using the TomTom’s traffic algorithm before delivering the service.

The product is expected to be launched during mid-2011 with a price tag of $349, which comes with a trail subscription of TomTom Live service with HD Traffic.
