Apple’s iPhone 5 is twice fast as Android and Nokia Lumia devices

The cloud gaming company Agawi unveiled a report that says Apple’s iPhone 5 touch response is more than twice fast as any other Android and Lumia devices. Agawi’s TouchMarks Minimum App Response Time benchmark says iPhone 5 responded in 54 milliseconds, whereas the Samsung Galaxy S4 responded in 114ms, Lumia 928 took 117ms, HTC One responded at 121ms and Moto X sealed the last spot with the response time of 123ms.

According to the reports, the company didn’t get a chance to tryout the tests on iPhone 5S or iPhone 5C, but it expects the response to be same as iPhone 5. If you are interested in the benchmark, then the company has made the benchmark and methodology available to anyone. It’s said that the tests were performed for the company’s cloud based applications, expecting end-end response time of 160 milliseconds or less.
