Toyota shows off Etios-Cross during Indian Auto Expo 2014
Another Auto expo and another show from Toyota. The Toyota Etios Cross is now officially launched at Delhi in Indian Auto Expo 2014. It’s not the first time Toyota is launching Etios crossover, as the company debuted it first in Brazil. The model shares the same platform of Etios Liva, but this one looks quite sporty. The Etios Cross sports a new grille guard, side cladding, fog lamps with turn indicators, bold front grille, rear defogger with wiper and ORVM with turn indicators. The model is rich in terms of space inside the cabin and the interior has more improvements when compared to Liva – piano black interiors, fabric seats with an adjustable headrest.
The car comes in three variants – 1.5 litre petrol engine with a power output of 88 bhp, 1.2 litre petrol engine with 78 bhp and 1.4 litre diesel engine with 67 bhp.
In the audio upfront, the car comes with a 2 DIN audio system with Bluetooth, USB, AUX-in support. It also has a Honda style audio control buttons on a leather covered steering wheel.
Seeing the features and design, the Etios Cross would stand as big competitor to Volkswagen polo and Fiat Avventura. Wanna drive one? The bookings have already started and the car is expected to hit the showroom at the end of this month.
