Toys ‘R’ Us Announces Cheapest Android Tablet ‘Elonex eTouch’
Retail giant Toys ‘R’ Us has announced the cheapest Android tablet, the Elonex eTouch in UK. The device will bear a price tag starting from just £89.99 only. According to the company, the Elonex eTouch tablet will be available in two models such as a 7 and 10 inch touchscreen.
The 7 inch version sports features like 128MB RAM, 2GB storage, microSD card slot, 3.5mm audio jack and WiFi. It runs on Android 1.6 OS. The 10 inch version features 256MB RAM, 1GHz processor with 2GB storage, microSD card slot, 3.5 mm audio jack and WiFi. It runs on Android 2.1 OS.On the eve of the announcement, Toys ‘R’ Us Marketing Director Mike Coogan said, “This is yet another new, exciting and innovative product that we are confident to bring to our sales floor. It is important that Toys ‘R’ Us inspire the young and inspirational market offering the best affordable products on the marketplace.”
The 7 inch Elonex eTouch tablet will be available for £89.99 and the later version will have a price tag of £149.99.
