Transcend, one of the leading producers of mass storage devices and portable storage devices have released a new music player cum mass storage device. Transcend MP330 will have a black and white OLED display of 128 x 32 pixels resolution. It can easily display the titles or one line lyrics of the song being played in the music player. It features a joypad which has four buttons and one button for play and stop options in the middle.

Transcend Mp330 music player can play almost all the formats of audio files including FLAC (Free Loseless Audio Codec) which can be played only in selected mp3 players. The device comes in variable storage capacities of 2GB, 4GB and 8GB. The ultra-portable MP330 can also operate like a USB flash drive, making it easier to transfer music, pictures, office documents, presentation documents and other files from any desktop or laptop.

In addition, MP330 is equipped with built-in advanced equalizer with 7 preset effects, including SRS WOW HD and user-customizable options, allowing tailored sound output to match required music outputs and tastes. It comes with a rechargeable Li-Ion Polymer battery which offers up to 12 hours of music playback. It also sports a power save option which sports auto-power-off option when the device is idle for more than 5 -10 mins. It has an integrated FM radio which supports more than 20 Radio channel memory and allows recording from radio directly and saves the audio file recorded in .wav file format. The device sports voice recorder too. As a Mass Storage device it features a transfer rate of 3.0 MB/sec.
